Moving Dogs to the UK: Coco’s Relocation

Coco the Maltipoo is not only cute, but also very well-traveled! This sweet dog made the big move from the United States all the way to the United Kingdom earlier this year. Her parents took the time to let us know how she's doing and share their experience working with PetRelocation. Here's what they had to say! 

My entire experience with PetRelocation was great! I relocated from the US to the UK for a long-term work assignment and there was absolutely no way I would leave my dog behind. PetRelocation was well rated so I decided to give them a shot. I was impressed from the beginning! I filled out the online form and shortly received an automated e-mail stating a team member would be in touch within 24 hours. The automated e-mail was unnecessary because I received an e-mail from a real person, Catie Cox, before I received it! Catie was very helpful and accommodating. She answered all of my many questions and stayed in touch without being overwhelming.

Once the contract was finalized, the handoff to my particular relocation specialist, Lindsey Rose, was very smooth. I can't say enough good things about Lindsey. She was fantastic! She handled everything from scheduling vet appointments to following up with the USDA about some final paperwork. If I sent an e-mail, Lindsey always provided a quick response (within a few hours).

On the day of the move, Lindsey was a rock star. She checked in with the airport, checked in with us, checked in with customs. She was always just a phone call or e-mail away to make sure everything was moving smoothly. Thanks to all of her efforts, there were no hiccups whatsoever. Relocating is difficult and there are a lot of moving parts. It was really, really great to know that someone was handling a big part of that and have complete trust that they were on top of things. While I don't think my dog was thrilled about flying and being in a cargo hold she was no worse for wear, and after a long nap, she was right as rain.

Their customer service and concern for Coco's wellbeing in-transit were excellent. When it comes time to repatriate, I'll look no further than PetRelocation to get Coco stateside again!
