We needed help moving our 2 Weimaraners abroad because moving the two of us, many pieces of luggage, and all the logistics of adding our dogs to the mix was too much. Initially, I was shocked at the price of this undertaking, but the service was every bit with the cost. We worked with Natalia in the US and Gel in Portugal. Both were extremely compassionate, supportive and communicative.
Our situation ended up being rather unique and it “took a village” to make it all work out. We arrived from the US on a Tuesday and our dogs were to fly out the following day after a night in a hotel. When we landed in Lisbon we were informed that our female dog started a fight with the male and tore up his ear, causing him to have to go to the vet for sedation and stitches. The rest of the week was a logistics challenge for Natalia and team, trying to schedule flights and make sure all of our required documentation was still legitimate.
In the end, the dogs arrived a week after us, but there was so much anxiety and stress on our part, very much relieved by Natalia and Gel. I honestly can’t say enough about them and this company. It was worth every penny and they all did exceptional work to get our family members here to Portugal. It is now 2 days past arrival and the dogs have settled in nicely. Thank you Pet Relocation. *****
