Recently we moved repeat pups, Grace & Eeny, from Wales to Colorado! Their mom was nice enough to take a moment to let us know how they're doing! Here's their story!
What brought you to Colorado? We actually made the move back to Colorado from Wales (they traveled previously with PetRelocaion in May 2018). I work here at a non-profit helping horses and at-risk communities just south of Denver and my husband currently resides in Wales with our other two dogs (one of whom we moved there with PetRelocation in May also!). The rest of the family will join us soon!
How did Eeny & Grace’s handle the move and how are they settling in? The girls were very excited to be home after all their travels. They’ve done really well both times across the Atlantic, and we have total confidence in all the communication PetRelocation provides us with before and during their trip.
What advice would you give to people who might start to plan their pet's move? I’d say to any potential clients they just need to hand you the reins early on and prepare to relax (at least about the dogs’ part of the move!) It takes a lot to convince me that our babies are in good hands when they’re away from us, but we always felt as though Eeny and Grace were of highest priority to everyone who handled them. They’ve both settled back in beautifully (although the jetlag and 2 am wake up moments kept going for a few days!).
How pet-friendly is your new home city? We live bordering Chatfield State Park so most often go walking or running out there for miles of trails. The start of the Colorado Trail is also in nearby Roxborough so we hike that way too.
Thank you so much for sharing their journey! We cannot wait to get the whole family reunited in Colorado soon!
