Moving across the globe can be a complex task, especially when our beloved pets are involved. For one family, deciding to move back to Australia also meant ensuring the safe relocation of their elderly cat, Joey. Dealing with multiple time zones and stringent Australian quarantine regulations was no easy feat, but at PetRelocation, we were up for the challenge.
Our journey began in July 2022 after making the difficult decision to move back to Australia. Our elderly cat Joey (16 years) has been with us for 12 years, so there was no question about bringing him along with us! Due to complications with moving, travel and Australian quarantine regulations, we had to leave Joey at a cattery for a few months in Amsterdam before we could be reunited with him in Adelaide in February 2023.
During that time, Nina Faber at Pet Relocations helped us every step of the way. The coordination between 3 different timezones seemed like an almost impossible task, but Nina managed it all. Her clear communication and ongoing contact with us about Joey's travel requirements, paperwork and flight itinerary, along with her cheerful updates and photos of Joey's journey, put us at complete ease. Nina went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Joey arrived safely and in good spirits considering his long migration! We highly recommend Pet Relocation. They really care about the well-being of your pet.
