Pet Travel Update: Tropical Storm Don could cause flight delays

Weather forecasters are predicting that a storm will hit the mid to upper Texas coast this weekend, so if you're planning to fly with pets in or out of Houston (IAH), take note that your plans may be affected.

Right now it looks like flights from Friday afternoon through Saturday are most likely to be changed, and depending on the path and severity of the storm, Sunday flights may be delayed as well. As always, it's advised to keep an eye on the weather and check with your airline before you leave home.

Hopefully Tropical Storm Don, which doesn't appear that it will strengthen into a hurricane, will bring some rain to drought-stricken Texas but no cancellations. Stay in touch with us throughout this storm season, and be sure to travel safely, everyone!
