New Singapore Pet Travel & Import Regulations - Effective July 1st 2009
New rules will change the way people move and travel with pets to Singapore.
Most notably, pets coming from the US (excluding Hawaii and Guam) will now only under go a 10 day quarantine period (instead of the previous 30 day quarantine period required for Singapore imports). In order to qualify for this quarantine period, the pets will need to get a rabies serology test at least 30 days after their current rabies vaccination, but within 6 months of export.
These new rules will also apply to dogs and cats coming from Canada, Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain.
We've updated our Singapore Pet Import Requirements page to reflect this new information. Pet owners with additional questions are welcome to contact us directly.
