I brought my pet from California to Panama, Central America and wanted to know requirements for taking her on a trip back to the US and then returning to Panama. Can you assist?

Every time you cross the border into a different country with a pet (even if it's just for a short visit), you need to meet their respective import requirements.

For your reference, here are the requirements for Panama and the requirements for the US. Frequent travelers generally find it helpful to keep their pets up to date with the rabies vaccine and have a good relationship with a vet (who can issue the vet health certificate when needed).
