Hi PetRelocation,
Are you allowed to start the pet transport process with one vet and finish with another? I live in Los Angeles and I would like to drop my dog off in Charleston, SC with my family so I can be with my husband sooner.
They would finish the process there. Is there a rule against that?

Hi Carrie,
Thanks for your inquiry! First, for reference take a look at the most up-to-date International Import Requirements to the UK for an idea of the steps you'll need to take to ensure a smooth move to London.
As for your question, there shouldn't be a problem with using different vets as long as both are accredited and follow the prescribed guidelines. We have done this in the past with a few of our clients and there were no issues.
Also, since you have a Pug we'd like to share these tips for traveling safely with snub-nosed breeds. Pugs and other snubbies are a little more sensitive to travel but can enjoy a safe trip when the right preparations are made.
Good luck with your move and let us know if you need assistance! We've helped many dogs move safely to the UK and elsewhere and would be happy to discuss your pet shipping options.
