Hi PetRelocation,
We are a Danish family, expatriated to Manila, going to Beijing in the near future. Our dog has a microchip and the required rabies vaccination for traveling to Denmark, Europe.
Will it be possible for us to bring her to China? Without any quarantine?
Thanks,
Kristina
Hi Kristina,
Thank you for your question! We have helped many pet travelers navigate the tricky process of shipping their dogs to China safely and would be happy to help you, too.
First, take a look at the China pet import requirements here. Each Chinese city has different import requirements (you can find a more detailed explanation by reading our China Import and Export Guide), and depending on your port of entry it may be possible to avoid quarantine. We would be happy to discuss your options with you if you're looking for the kind of door-to-door services we offer.
Contact us if you're ready to get started, Kristina.
Finally, it may also help to read over a few pet travel stories from pet owners who have relocated to China with their pets. Here's a look at two cats who moved to Shanghai from California and one dog who moved to Shenzen from California.
Hopefully you'll see that this is not such a scary process when handled with expert assistance and lots of advance planning!
Thanks again for reaching out and we hope to hear from you.
