Nina, our senior relocation coordinator for team Australia, is a joy to work with. So many of her clients have expressed how much they've enjoyed working with her. We have to say, we agree! Nina's positivity shines bright and she puts her whole heart into every move she gets to be part of.
Let's take a moment to get to know her better! Meet Nina Faber.
I moved to Austin and was working remotely. When I decided it was time to find a local Austin job, my search ended when I found PetRelocation! My initial attraction to the position was that it would be a job
It is SO hard to pick a favorite because each move and family is so different and special. If I had to just talk about one, it would be when I was able to help move a local Austin family's five pets to Australia. Since they were local, they were able to come to our office with their four dogs (the fifth pet was their cat), so it was really special to get to meet the pups and their parents before their journey began. There was a lot to keep track of, but working with the client and everyone involved was such a great experience, and they all arrived safe and sound together, to the most beautiful new hometown in Australia.
I would recommend looking at the government websites to read the details of exporting your pet to see the timing and requirements for your pet's move. Also, I would recommend reading about other people’s experiences. If you have someone you can talk to that has moved their pet, that would be a great start in setting some expectations.
I am hoping, with the help of PetRelocation, there can be even more personalized updates on each pet's journey, including tracking devices as they are on their flights, to be better connected to your pet each moment of their journey.
One of my favorite celebrities is Arielle Vandenberg. She is a host and actress, but even more than that provides a lot of positive messages on her social media. She has the cutest dog named Stinky that I would just love to meet (and for our dogs to become best friends of course).
Be open to new challenges and constant change, but know you'll have a big supportive team around you.
I love taking my dogs out on long walks around Lady Bird Lake, going out with my friends to hear some live music or to check out a new restaurant, and volunteering at Central Texas Pig Rescue.
Thanks, Nina!
