Hi PetRelocation,
I want to move my rabbit to China. Can I do that?
Thanks,
Karen
Hi Karen,
Thanks for your question. Via the USDA website, here are the import requirements for bringing a rabbit to China. As you can see there are a few details to attend to involving health documents, the travel crate, etc., so you'll want to prepare carefully and allow plenty of time to get everything in order.
Where any questions arise, we recommend verifying them with Chinese authorities to make sure you will be able to bring your rabbit into the country without issue. It's also important to check with the airline you're planning to use to find out what there specific requirements are for rabbits traveling internationally, as well.
If you're feeling overwhelmed and are thus considering hiring professional help with your move, please fill out our online consultation form. We have moved a few rabbits over the years -- that's Kirby to the right, who went from Zurich to California -- and we'd be happy to help you, too.
Thanks again, hopefully this has been helpful!
